P.S. To the Pee Stick

Not only are you an asshole, but apparently you are a big fat liar as well.

P.P.S. My beta was 48.7 I guess that means I'm pregnant for now. (And to you, my dear friends, please tell me that is not too low and I'm okay. Transfer was last Sunday. Other than that, I'm giddy. And in total complete shock.)

Woo-hoo!!!!!!!!! So completely, utterly fantastic! I'm so happy for you and Partner.

At 9dpt, doesn't sound too low to me. Will you have another test in two days? Praying now for good doubling!

Oh. My. God. I'm so thrilled.

Here's hoping that those pee sticks are the last thing you'll have to worry about for the next nine months. And definitely don't burn them now - you shouldn't breath those fumes!

Katie and Partner and baby make three!!!!!! I am so happy for you!
Check out this link:

According to this, 9dpt (was it a 3 day transfer?) your beta is exactly average. That is wonderful!!!!!!!!
Another example of how pee sticks are evil. Do you get a second beta? I can't wait to hear second #s. All my best to you three!

Woot! YEEEEHAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWW!!!!

Remember that anecdote of my friend with the negative HPTs and the low positive blood test and the twin boys almost 5 years old? The one I left in the comments on the last post? That one?

47.

12dpt.

Put that on your pyre and smoke it. :)

(and I'll do a happy dance around the flames)

YES!!!!! YESSSSSSSS!!!!! WHOO-HOO!!!!! God dammit Katie, stop with the "for now," you're PREGNANT!!!!! I think you're just used to reading IF and IVF blogs, but you my dear must keep in mind that most of the women undergoing IVF have significant fertility issues that make it difficult for them to maintain pregnancies, whereas you are merely, as a previous commenter pointed out, a lezbo. So here's to healthy mamas, a healthy little speck in the oven, and no more Manhattans for you! WHOO-HOOOOOOO!!!!! I bet Partner is ecstatic; I wish you could post a picture of her face right now. Oh man, I've been less happy over family members' pregnancies than I am over this, LOL! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!

OMG! OMG! OMG! That is a FINE first beta! Its all about the second beta, anyway, and even then, it doesn't have to "double." I was always told they are just looking for a 66% increase, so anything over 80 on Thursday is great! Yippee for Katie and Partner!!!

Jean told me last night while I was on the phone and I started jumping and was so happy for you! The girl on the other line thought I had lost my mind, but she quickly understood (and sends her congrats as well!). Yippee!! This is awesome! We never did betas but from the people I know who have done them, your numbers seem just fine. So glad you're on your way!

Post something else! Post something else! How do you feel? This is so exciting! And let me just say now that it's a damned good thing you DID turn out pregnant or I would have just about died of disappointment on your behalf. Because it's all about me. Post something else! Oh, god, the next thirty-eight weeks are going to be hell on my nerves. I can't wait to pepper you with assvice and read your take on pregnancy, birth, and the early days of motherhood. How is Partner? Have you pried her off of the ceiling yet? Post something else!
