The Sharks Are Swimming
In little less than two days, I've gone from exuberantly happy and full of hope to downright depressorama.
The realtor open house was yesterday. The good news is that fifteen (!!!) realtors came through. This number is huge. Many realtor open houses here have gotten zero realtors. The bad news is that weren't all universally gushing over our house. Whereas before they swooped down upon us, I felt very confident we'd get the house sold. Now I feel dismal. Depressed.
Worse: I'm sick. I mean, I am really really sick. With fluids dripping out of my nose, unasked for. Chest congestion. Burning eyes. Heavy head. And a fever. Which means, of course, I'm freaking out. Should I call the doctor? The last temp I took was 100.5, which isn't a raging fever by any means, but I'm feeling like the dog. And I have to take a test tonight and I can't manage to stay awake to study.
Tell me it's okay I have a fever and nothing bad will happen.

Sorry to hear that you're sick. It's absolutely no fun when all you can take is Tylenol. I would call and talk to a nurse though, just double check with them. The fever is low enough that it might not be a problem but could quickly become dangerous for baby. (At least this is what my OB drills into his patients' heads.)
Probably not what you wanted to hear. Hopefully you're on the mend soon. G/L tonight w/ your test!
oh no! Feel better soon.
Call the nurse when in doubt. That's their job :) A fever of 100.5 shouldn't be too serious. now if you get up to 103 or 104 not so good. Hope you feel better!
Oh no--poor you! Like the other commenters said, I'd err on the side of caution and give the nurse a call--it can't hurt. And in the meantime, I'm sending positive house and health thoughts your way! Take care.
I'm sorry, I'm going to have to comment on this one. Just this morning, I was reading/obsessing over the previously unread portion of my US clinic's binder, under "Once you become pregnant..." They describe 4 "abnormal" symptoms that they want a call about, a temperature of 100.5 and over, is one of them. Take two Tylenol and call your nurse, woman!
Just don't let yourself become dehydrated as that is why healthcare pros don't like fevers.
Don't worry about the house; it's gorgeous and will sell itself. As for you DD, is right. Don't get dehyrated and take care of yourself.
It's all going to be just fine. Really.
any type of broth or chicken noodle and some hot tea will help . but call a nurse just in case.. hugs and i hope you feel better....
We can and will deliver miso soup. If you want it, you know where we are.
Hopefully you have either a) started to feel a little bit better or b) contacted the ole' health care practitioner who, I have a feeling, will tell you not much more than the above lovely ladies have already. But at least you will have some peace of mind.
As for the house, um yeah, I have seen pics and I am not at all worried that you will have VERY few problems selling it.
I do hope you feel better though me dear.
It's okay you have a fever and nothing bad will happen. Really. I hope you feel better soon.
Ditto all the rest, and I prescribe much, much rest for you. Stop running about like a loony!
PS why have I not seen house pics hmm?
awww you poor thing! I think you should take today off and just rest and relax.
I know you don't know me, but I've been lurking on your blog for a bit now. Love it, by the way, and congratulations!
As for being sick. I spent the first 10 weeks of my pregnancy sick as the dog and couldn't take anything. I note someone told you to take two Tylenol. You may want to check with your OB first as I thought that Tylenol/Advil/anything to make you feel better was prohibited. Maybe they've changed the ruling on that one.
Anyway, hope you feel better and your house sells soon!
I hope by now you're feeling better, and that the exam went okay.
Tylenol is OK. Hopefully you're all better by now though. Let us know though, k?
Dude. Where ARE you?
