Happy Saint Patrick's Day-- A Day Late

I know you don't know Cricket's name, but let's just say that there are those who just cannot get his name right. ("Uh... Could you spell that?") Yesterday at the Detroit Irish festival no one had that problem. He was right at home with the other babies. He met a Sean, Siobhan, Liam, etc. He was the only one of his name. But everyone knew it. Here's our wee fella on the high holy day.

I don't want to "out" cricket with my guess.....

Is there perhaps a place where people who you know aren't psycho can guess?

CUTE! Love it, and love his name (unless that was a fake name you posted in the CD mix club board). :o)

LOVING the outfit! Actually, it looks quite a bit like the shamrock underwear I bought for Tim and made him wear to a St. Paddy's Day BBQ. After all, everyone is Irish on St. Paddy's Day.

I also LOVE his name, the whole entire thing. It is beautiful and it really suits him. His name is Roddy Doyle, right? Roddy Doyle Your last name partner's last name? No?

When I was backpacking around Ireland years ago, I loved that I could call a hostel to reserve a bed, give my last name, and have no one ask me to spell it.

My last name is Irish. And is quite common as far as Irish surnames go. Indeed, it's not that uncommon in the U.S. either. A couple of famous celebs share my last name. But people constantly get it wrong, replacing the "O'" with a "Mc" or a "Mac", adding a "d" where there is no "d."

I'm glad you got to experience a place where Cricket's name was heard and understood without a blink. It's nice. And that outfit is adorable.
