Well, Yes...
This is from a few weeks ago, but the sentiment still rings true:
My "corner" gas station, which according to MSN, is in the upper half of expensive gas in the city, nevertheless amuses me with its signboard, not its prices.

Hee!! That's excellent.
And our gas prices have been running a good 30-50 cents higher over here in SoCal.
Ha!
Your side of town is much funnier than ours.
lol
And gas is cheap there, here it's over $3 a gallon. Although it's a little cheaper near my dad's house, who lives near the Amish :)
Why aren't you in bed? :)
I'm with anon! But then I realized you probably didn't take this picture, right? Our prices in Boston are only about 10c more than that, which isn't too bad. Until I look back at my records and remember that 3-4 years ago gas was less than a buck.
What really kills me though is that a gallon of milk is still more expensive than a gallon of gas. Go figure on that one. Granted I don't drink as much milk as my car does gas, but still!
Not sure what happened where you are, but here in Lansing, it went up by $.20 overnight.
You need to laugh to keep from crying!!
We wanna know about the bleeding already! How are you??
Very funny! Here a few weeks ago there was a sign, that instead of listing prices, listed: "an arm, a leg, your firstborn".
Apparently none of the gas station owners around here have a sense of humor, because they just keep raising prices. Ours are about the same as yours, which is about 20 cents higher than it was a week ago. The day before I filled up, of course.
