Very exciting! It is finally under way after so damn long.
And your nervousness about IDs re: who is donating and who is carrying reminds me of how each time I was about to be wheeled in for my egg retrieval there was at least one other woman in the pre-op getting ready for a hysterectomy. And each time I would joke with the nurses and say "Ha ha please don't mix us up, ha ha." No FUCKING REALLY. DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT MIXING US UP.
Yay!!!! I'm so thrilled for you both! I feel like I should have a drink in celebration :)

The mix-up thing...fairly common from what I understand, so be careful. And I'm glad you're aware of it this early because you two are your own best advocates.

Exciting! :) I hope that it goes well for you both. Good thing they write things down and have to check the name twice before they do anything. :)
